Why Is There a Surah Called An-Nahl?
An-Nahl means “The Bee.” Surah An-Nahl is the 16th chapter of the Qur’an. In verses 16:68–69, Allah tells us about the bee and the remarkable way He guides it.

The Qur’an says that Allah inspired the bee to make homes in mountains, trees, and places people build. This teaches us that Allah knows and guides His creation in ways that are amazing to observe.

Allah tells the bees to eat from fruits and follow the paths their Lord has made easy for them. From the work of these tiny creatures comes honey, a food that people have enjoyed for generations.

The Qur’an says that from the bee’s belly comes a drink of different colors in which there is healing for people. This is a beautiful reminder of Allah’s mercy and the useful things He places in His creation.
