The Stones Said The Greeting ‘Assalamu’alaikum’
(HR. Tirmidhi, Muslim, ad-Darimi, and Ahmad)
Among the miracles of the Prophet was that the stones said the greeting ‘assalamu’alaikum’ to him.
“Indeed, I know a stone in Mecca that greeted me before I was appointed an Apostle,” said Rasulullah. “And now I know it too.”
Among the miracles of Rasulullah were rocks, trees and mountains saying the greeting ‘assalamu’alaikum’ to Rasulullah.
Narrated from Ali Ibn Abi Talib, he said, “In the past, I was with the Messenger of Allah in Mecca. We came out of various corners of the city. He met a mountain and a rock, all of which said, ‘Peace be with you, O Messenger of Allah.” ***
