When he entered heaven, Idris put his sandals under one of the trees in heaven.
When Idris left heaven, Idris suddenly said, “I left my sandals in heaven. I have to go back to heaven.”
After that, Idris asked Allah SWT to allow him to remain in heaven.
Because of Idris’ mistakes and obedience, Allah SWT granted Idris’ wish to live in heaven forever.
Idris is one of the four prophets of Allah SWT who are still alive today.
The other three prophets are Isa, Khidir, and Ilyas.
During Isra Miraj, the Prophet Muhammad met Idris in the sixth heaven.

Idris was also the first person to master arithmetic, astrology, horse riding, and even cutting and sewing clothes from animal skins.
