Sea water
Sea water is absolutely holy and purifying water.
Performing ablution, bathing, cleaning impurities, or other purification can use sea water.
Abi Hurairah r.a. narrated that someone asked the Messenger of Allah, “‘O Messenger of Allah, we sailed the sea and only brought a little water. If we use it for ablution, we will definitely get thirsty. Can we perform ablution with sea water? Rasulullah saw. answered, (The sea) is pure in water and halal in its carcasses.”‘
(HR Abu Dawud, at-Tirmidhi, Ibn Majah, an-Nasa’i, and Malik)
